Facebook Suspends Five Accounts For 'Inauthentic Behavior'

Facebook suspended five accounts for spreading misleading information during Alabama’s special election in 2017. A Facebook spokesperson said they were running “engaging in coordinated inauthentic behavior.” The spokesperson said they “stand against people or organization that create networks of accounts to mislead others.” According to Business Insider, one of those accounts included CEO of social media research firm New Knowledge.
