South Korea sent a delegation to the North today to prepare for a ceremony that'll be held this coming Wednesday... to symbolically break ground on work to connect and modernize the two sides' railways and roads.
The South Korean government says the delegation of 14... consists of officials from the unification ministry and the transport ministry.
They're tasked with working-level preparations for the ceremony, including the detailed schedule and the list of attendees.
The plan is for them to continue those preparations in another visit Monday afternoon.
South and North have agreed to each send about a hundred people to the groundbreaking on Wednesday at Panmun Station, just north of the border near the town of Gaesong.
