Climate campaigners Extinction Rebellion sing outside the BBC in Salford's Media City on December 21 to highlight the urgency of the issues posed by climate change.

The activists demand that the BBC "tell the truth". Later on, anti-fracking campaigners dance in the rain to "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" at Preston New Road.

The Blackpool footage is from last week, at the site of a Caudrilla Fracking well. Momentum and Extinction Rebellion are showing solidarity with the anti-fracking protesters.
