Park Hang-seo a key coaching staff of South Korea's legendary 2002 world cup squad has been busier than ever in Vietnam.
For helping to take their national football team to the top of Southeast Asia for the first time in 10 years, Park is named the person of the year by a national broadcasting company in Vietnam.
Vietnam's state-run broadcaster VTV1 praised Park on Tuesday for his outstanding achievement and named him "person of the year" for 2018.
For VTV1 to pick a foreigner is an unusual case,… and the broadcaster said it's planning to invite Park to make a special show to broadcast on January 1st.
Last week, Park led Vietnam to victory in the Suzuki Cup, Southeast Asia's biggest football tournament.
