Polls suggest most Americans believe that a law is necessary to protect special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, following Jeff Sessions resignation from his position as attorney general. Business Insider reports a new national survey of Americans showed 35% of respondents said a law protecting FBI Director Mueller and his team of investigators is "extremely important." 16% said such a law would be "not at all important."
