U.S. Senate Panel Accuses Former Head Of U.S. Olympic Committee Of Lying

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, a U.S. Senate subcommittee investigating sexual abuse in gymnastics accused a former head of the U.S. Olympic Committee of making “materially false statements," and it said it would refer the matter to the FBI. Republican Senator Jerry Moran and Senator Richard Blumenthal said they made the referral detailing potential violations of the law against Olympic Committee CEO Scott Blackmun.
