WORCESTER, MA – The Worcester Railers HC (11-12-3-0, 25pts) had a tough go offensively in a 4-0 loss to the visiting Manchester Monarchs (12-10-1-1, 26pts) in front of 2,812 fans at the DCU Center on Friday evening.
The Railers were shutout for the second time this season while Mitch Gillam had his 13-game home game winning streak snapped in the loss. Charles Williams made 37 saves for Manchester while Nic Pierog scored twice to give Manchester a 4-1-0-0 record on their six-game road trip.
