According to Deadspin, Carson Wentz has been dealing with a nagging back injury all season.
And now we know why.
The Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback has a fractured vertebrae.
The fracture was found after Wentz went through a CT scan, along with other medical tests to determine his injury.
But Wentz won't require surgery to repair the fracture, instead, it will heal naturally if he's given time to rest and recuperate.
