Ministry of Health and Welfare reveals possible plans for pension reform

We start with reform plans for the National Pension System which were announced today by the health minister.
There are FOUR possible reform plans... and the first is to keep things effectively as they are.
The second plan will increase the basic pension to 3-hundred-50 U.S. dollars.... and keep the income replacement rate at 40 percent.
Other plans are.... raising the premium rate from the current rate of 9 percent to 12 percent in order to increase the income replacement rate to 45 percent,.... and raising the premium rate to 13 percent while increasing the income replacement rate to 50 percent.
The government has stressed that the decision on reforming pensions should be made through social consensus through the National Assembly and the Economic, Social and Labor Committee.
