Number of moviegoers in local cinemas grows more than 30 percent on-year in November

The number of moviegoers in local cinemas increased by double-digit on-year in November.
According to the Korean Film Council,....there were 17-point-2 million moviegoers in November, a more than 30 percent jump from the previous year.
This led to 129 million U.S. dollars in total turnover.
November is often considered part of the off-season for theaters due to low ticket sales,... but last month's high turnover was driven by both local and overseas hit films.
Among them, Korean film "Intimate Strangers" and U.S. music film "Bohemian Rhapsody" were most popular.
