An eleven-year-old boy in Delaware who was ridiculed because his last name is Trump is now going by a new surname, notes NBC News. The parents of Joshua Trump say that the bullying began after Donald Trump announced his candidacy for president. At that time, they decided to homeschool him but, more recently, thought that things may have changed.  It appears they have not, and child once again became a target.  "He said he hates himself, and he hates his last name, and he feels sad all the time, and he doesn't want to live feeling like that anymore, and as a parent that's scary," Megan Trump, the boy's mother, told WPVI.
"School officials said that as soon as they learned of the bullying they took action, including disciplining students found to be involved," reports NBC News. Furthermore, the Associated Press reports that the parents have been working with the school and, on Tuesday, its officials granted permission for the boy to drop the Trump surname in their system and go by his father's last name instead.
