So, a thriller to end the league stage. It has been a miserable tournament for Heat but they will at least end it on a high. So, Heat, Spartans and Giants are out. And Blitz, Stars and Rocks adavnce. ABD, losing skipper: I got lucky today. I could have bowled second on this pitch. I am very proud to be a part of this. The quality of cricket was terrific in this MSL. Some of the young guns were amazing and the older ones, like today put their hands up too. It was a fantastic tournament and I can't wait to come back next year. I would back Cape Town to win the league. They have been the most consistent team in the tournament and they will play the final on their home ground too.
Albie Morkel, Man of the match: I think it was much-needed for our team. ABD batted really well on this slow wicket to almost put us out of the match. I would like to thank the crowd for turning up for this dead-rubber. I am backing Jozi Stars to win the tournament.
Heinrich Klaasen: It was a fantastic win. We just wanted to finish well. We wanted to give something for the Durban Heat fans. I am glad that we chased this down. The quality of cricket is fantastic. It's been a very good tournament overall. I think this's a big future in South Africa cricket.

It ebbed and flowed and in the end it took a no-ball to decide it's fate. That's a bit of shame and Eldred Hawken will be kicking himself for overstepping on the penultimate ball. Heat got off to a horrific start. They lost wickets in a flurry and at one stage Heat were 66-5. At that point, Spartans had the match in their bag but Albie Morkel rolled back the years and put up a grand show for the crowd at the SuperSport Park. He was timing it sweetly and he made the full use of it, he clobbered five sixes and ended up at 57* to steer his side home. Time for the presentations.
