According to a report by Reuters, on Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron has been informed of the unfolding events in Strasbourg, where at least one person has been killed in a shooting near its Christmas market. An official at the Elysee palace said that Macron, who cut a meeting short after being informed of the situation, would send his interior minister, Christophe Castaner, to the eastern French city.
