With a partial government shutdown looming just days before the Christmas holiday, US president Donald Trump, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi clash in the Oval Office, in front of cameras, over Mr Trump’s demand that taxpayers pay for a wall along the Mexico border or he will shut down part of the government.
