Trump Threatens To Get The Military to Build The Border Wall If Democrats Don't Agree On Funding

President Trump on Tuesday posted another tweet on border security.
President Trump on Tuesday threatened to get the military involved in building the U.S.-Mexico border wall.
"People do not yet realize how much of the Wall, including really effective renovation, has already been built," Trump tweeted. "If the Democrats do not give us the votes to secure our Country, the Military will build the remaining sections of the Wall. They know how important it is!"
In another tweet, he wrote: "I look forward to my meeting with Chuck Schumer & Nancy Pelosi. In 2006, Democrats voted for a Wall, and they were right to do so. Today, they no longer want Border Security. They will fight it at all cost, and Nancy must get votes for Speaker. But the Wall will get built."
His tweets come after the Washington Post reported on the funding negotiations.
"Democratic leaders plan to offer President Trump $1.3 billion in funding for a border fence when they meet Tuesday at the White House, a bid that falls far short of the $5 billion Trump is demanding to fund a border wall," the Post noted.
