Later in the day, President Moon issued a letter of appointment for the new deputy prime minister... who will also serve as the minister of economy and finance.
That's Hong Nam-ki, who's due to be inaugurated on Tuesday.
The 58-year-old has long served in various public posts, including as the head of the government policy coordination office.
Replacing the current finance chief Kim Dong-yeon,... Hong Nam-ki will be in charge of leading the second phase of President Moon's economic policies.
