According to Reuters, France's government says that President Emmanuel Macron will address the nation in the next few days after the latest violent “yellow vest” protests in the city of Paris. On Saturday, anti-government protesters wrecked havoc for the fourth weekend in a row, torching cars and vandalizing shops and restaurants. Macron, who was elected in May 2017, is facing mounting criticism for not speaking in public as violence has worsened in the past week.
