Extreme cold in S. Korea expected to last until Monday

For those of you here in Korea,.... it's been a bone-chilling day so far,... as temperatures dropped to some of the lowest levels we've seen this season.
According to the weather agency,.... the mercury here in Seoul dropped to minus six degrees Celsius during the morning,... although, with wind chills,... it felt much like minus 16 degrees.
Cold wave advisories were issued in many areas,... and Hwacheon County in Gangwon-do Province saw the temperature drop to minus 18-point-8 degrees,... the lowest in the country.
Meanwhile, southern provinces and Jeju Island are expected to see a bout of heavy snow.
Weather experts say....an inflow of cold air from the North has brought about such freezing temperatures.... and that the extreme cold is expected to last throughout the weekend.
