Teacher Not Allowed
to Return to School After Telling Kids
Santa Isn't Real A substitute teacher in New Jersey
told first-grade students at Cedar
Hill School that Santa isn't real. According to officials, the teacher
also told the children that the Easter Bunny,
Tooth Fairy and Elf on a Shelf were fake. Rene Rovtar, Montville Schools Superintendent, said that "childhood wonder associated with all holidays and traditions" is important to her. Rovtar confirmed that the
teacher will no longer work in the
district but declined to further comment. The identity of the substitute teacher has not been released.
