Kevin Hart announced on Instagram that he will be the host for the 91st annual Academy Awards. Hart said hosting the Oscars is an “opportunity of a lifetime” and he is happy to be able to do so. According to SFGate, he said hosting the Oscars has been a goal on his “list for a long time.” In his post, Hart thanked his family, friends and fans for supporting him and said he would make it special. The Oscars will air on ABC on Feb. 24, 2019.
