'The Daily Show' host still sat at the desk throughout the show, but was unexpectedly accompanied by one of
his colleagues. Comedian Michael Kosta opened the show alongside Trevor to explain the host has been ordered by his doctors to not speak. Michael Kosta, via 'The Daily Show' Fellow correspondents Roy Wood Jr. and Desi Lydic also took a seat next to Noah to be his voice throughout the show. Noah made several hand and facial gestures while present to go along with the commentary of the the show. It's unclear exactly how long Noah will be on vocal rest and how Comedy Central will handle hosting duties of the show.
