Canal Fishing (Blanking) & Update - Capitulation, Consternation & Crayfish? - 16/2/18 (Video 63)

With the Avon in no condition to do any bites and a foreboding forecast for the foreseeable future, Anastacia and I headed off to the canal for our first session, having recently joined to controlling angling club but never having fished there or any canal before.

Having no clue what to expect and the frosty nights taking their toll on the water temperature, we decided to have a dabble just for an hour or so in the evening, not really expecting anything to happen but more to get some experience and knowledge of what the canal is all about and a feel for the place.
