Thomson Reuters to Slash 3,200 Jobs by 2020

According to SF Gate, on Tuesday Thompson Reuters revealed plans to cut 3,200 jobs — roughly 12 percent of its workforce — by 2020 in an attempt to cut costs and “streamline the business.”
A spokesperson for the company said, “This is in reference to our chief operating officer’s presentation at Thomson Reuters Investor Day today, where headcount figures were mentioned. Almost all of these reductions have already been announced to employees, so there isn’t anything new here.
