Over 12 Million Pounds of Beef Recalled Over Salmonella Concerns 5.1 million pounds of beef have
been added to the 12 million pounds that were already
recalled on Tuesday. According to the USDA, JBS Tolleson is recalling beef items that
were packaged between
July 26 and September 7. The products subject to recall include the number "EST. 267" inside the USDA mark of inspection. Brands that are potentially affected include Kroger, Cedar River Farms, Grass Run Farms and JBS generic. According to the CDC, as of November 15, the recalled beef is linked to a salmonella outbreak that has caused 246 people to become ill in 25 states. 56 people have been hospitalized. Statement, via
