Seoul and Washington's newly-established working group on North Korea... is scheduled to hold its second meeting sometime this week.
According to a senior official from South Korea's foreign ministry,... the meeting is expected to take place via a video conference call.
The group, led by nuclear envoys from the two sides,... was created late last month, to strengthen bilateral cooperation on denuclearization efforts, implementation of UN sanctions... and ways the two Koreas can work together within the framework of sanctions.
The senior official added... a ministerial meeting is also scheduled for this week... while Seoul's foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha is in the U.S. to attend the funeral of the late American president, George H.W. Bush.
