Thunder Bay Mayor Bill Mauro Takes Office

Mayor Bill Mauro has now been sworn in as Thunder Bay's new Mayor. Mauro takes on the job as the City faces growing issues with First Nations residents following an incident on the weekend that saw a video posted online with a Thunder Bay Police Service officer striking a 17 year old​ youth who was strapped to a gurney. Thunder Bay over the coming years will face a number of challenges. The new City Council will have a lot of work to do to overcome the challenges and move the city in the right direction.
