Alaskans are surveying the damage of a series of earthquakes that struck the area Friday morning.
The largest 7.0 magnitude quake significantly damaged buildings, roads, and other infrastructure.
Power losses also reportedly affected tens of thousands of people following the initial earthquake.
Alaska Governor Bill Walker said that resulting disruption and needed repairs could last “quite some time.”
According to Gizmodo Earther, a magnitude-5.2 aftershock hit about 11 p.m. that same day.
