After 2 years of consistent efforts, a 108-foot-tall statue of lord Vishnu is finally being shifted from a remote village in Tamil Nadu to a temple in Bengaluru. The 64-foot tall statue consisting of the face and the hands of the chiselled idol is travelling around 380 kms across states. Dr Sadananda, who is the trustee of Kothandaramaswami charitable trust has made this task possible As statue politics peaks in the north, is south also taking a hint?
