Stray dogs filmed chasing a wild bear in India

A remarkable video has emerged from India showing a pack of stray dogs in a confrontation with a wild bear.
The clip, which was recorded on Friday (November 30) near a coal mine in the Chandrapur District of Maharashtra, shows the dogs surrounding the bear and barking.
Outnumbered, the bear decides to flee and the dogs give chase for a few metres before giving up.
The species of bear appears to be a sloth bear which was made famous by the character Baloo in The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling.
