LeBron James Credits Fatherhood For His Success
  • 5 years ago
LeBron James credits success throughout his 16-year NBA career to not only having good teammates, but also being a father.
During his recent appearance on Tim Ferriss' podcast, James talked about how fatherhood has influenced his leadership abilities.
Business Insider says that the four-time NBA MVP encourages his three children in three different ways because they all have different personalities.
This approach also helps him when working with his teammates.
He also says that patience is important, when leading a household or team.
He adds, "You can't go in saying this is how I'm going to lead. It comes back to patience of learning their mindsets....what triggers them to do their best, and what triggers them to not be their best. You learn that over time."
