According to a report by Mother Nature Network, the Mars InSight lander has successfully touched down on the red planet, gotten itself up and running, and has even sent back a picture with its Instrument Deployment Camera. The image was reportedly shared on NASA's social media channels with a caption reading, "There's a quiet beauty here. Looking forward to exploring my new home.
