According to a report by CNN Business, on Tuesday, President Donald Trump threatened to cut all General Motors subsidies after the automaker announced thousands of job cuts. Trump tweeted, "Very disappointed with General Motors and their CEO, Mary Barra, for closing plants in Ohio, Michigan and Maryland. We are now looking at cutting all @GM subsidies, including for electric cars." Following the tweet, GM stock declined over 3% and fell to session lows.
