President Trump has threatened to cancel his G20 meeting with Russian President Putin.

President Trump, in an interview with the Washington Post, said that he may skip his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 Leaders Summit this week.
The Post notes, he threatened to cancel the meeting "because of Russia's maritime clash with Ukraine. He said he was awaiting a 'full report' from his national security team Tuesday evening about Russia's capture of three Ukrainian naval ships and their crews in the Black Sea on Sunday."
"I don't like that aggression," Trump added. "I don't want that aggression at all."
Trump weighed in on the issue Monday as well.
"We don't like what's happening," Trump told reporters. "And hopefully, it will get straightened out. I know Europe is not — they are not thrilled. They're working on it too. We're all working on it together."
The tensions between Russia and Ukraine escalated on Sunday.
Russia's seizure of "three small Ukrainian naval vessels and 23 sailors — including at least three wounded in a shooting by the Russian side — was the first overt armed conflict between the two sides since the beginning days of the conflict in 2014, when Russian special forces occupied Crimea," notes the New York Times.
