Written and directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Mark L. Mann (HBO Documentaries' "Finishing Heaven"), the film was produced by Alison Palmer who developed the script with Mann. Palmer was recently co-executive producer on "Henry's Crime". Lemore Syvan ("Henry's Crime", "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee") and Caroline Kaplan ("Letters to Juliet") also produced. The film was also executive produced by Jared Goldman ("Solitary Man") and Nicolas Chartier.
"Generation Um..." follows a day in the life of John (Reeves) and his two beautiful cohorts as they live life on the fringe, immersed in sex, drugs and indecision. As they navigate their daily routine of bars, crowds and New York City living, they embark on a path of self-discovery.
