Stranded whales go back to the ocean

Ten pygmy killer whales were found stranded at Ninety Mile Beach in North Island, New Zealand. Two of them died soon after. Around 200 volunteers helped send the whales back into the waters. Whales stranding are not an uncommon phenomenon.145 pilot whales were also found dead in another unrelated stranding on Stewart Island in New Zealand.
