Dolphin Rescued By Beachgoers

This was the dramatic moment beachgoers rescued a stranded dolphin after it was wounded - by a speedboat propellor. The beached marine creature was seen thrashing around in the shallows next to a fishing village in Santa Magdalena, Philippines, on Tuesday (20/11) morning. Blood was seeping from a cut on its fin and mouth into the water. Seven men - all local fisherman - rushed over to help and carried the female dolphin across the sand to a speedboat. It was then transported to the Juag Lagoon Marine Sanctuary where vets are nursing her back to health.
