President Trump told reporters on Thursday that he’s prepared to shut down the entire southern US border.

President Trump told reporters on Thursday that he's prepared to shut down the entire southern U.S. border if the migrant situation gets out of control, reports Slate.  "If we find that it's uncontrollable…it gets to a level where we are going to lose control or where people are going to start getting hurt, we will close entry into the country for a period of time until we can get it under to control," Trump said.   He confirmed that he means "the whole border."
Trump has also posted numerous tweets recently in the wake of a migrant caravan heading to the U.S. border.
A day prior, Trump wrote on Twitter that "there are a lot of CRIMINALS in the Caravan."
And last month, the president tweeted: "The Caravans are made up of some very tough fighters and people. Fought back hard and viciously against Mexico at Northern Border before breaking through. Mexican soldiers hurt, were unable, or unwilling to stop Caravan."
