Atlanta Fed Leaves Fourth Quarter GDP At 2.5 Percent

According to Reuters, the US economy expanded at a rate of 2.5-percent during the fourth quarter of 2018.
Based on data for durable goods orders and home resales in October, the Atlanta Federal Reserve lowered their GDP forecast model to an annualized rate of 2.5-percent.
That pace matched the Atlanta Fed’s GDP program for calculating the nation's gross domestic product.
The Atlanta Fed also reduced their projected drag from residential investment in the current quarter by 2-percent.
