In the 10th edition of the boxing championship being held in Delhi, Kosovo's only player Donjetta Sadiqu is going to take part. He has two coaches along with him. All three have not got the visa yet. OCA president Sheikh Ahmed Al Fahad al-Sabah has clearly stated in his letter that failure to host Kosovo issue raises suspicion on the hosting of big tournaments in India's future. Kosovo Country was separated from Serbia in 2008 and He got recognition of an independent country. The IOC also gave it its membership in 2014.

दिल्ली में हो रही इस चैंपियनशिप के 10वें संस्करण में कोसोवो की एकमात्र खिलाड़ी डोनजेटा साडिकु हिस्सा लेने वाली हैं. उनके साथ दो प्रशिक्षक भी हैं. इन तीनों को अभी तक वीजा नहीं मिला है. ओसीए के अध्यक्ष शेख अहमद अल फहद अल सबाह ने अपने पत्र मे साफ तौर पर कहा है कि कोसोवो मुद्दे पर विफलता से भारत के भविष्य में बड़े टूर्नामेंट्स के आयोजनों की मेजबानी पर संदेह पैदा होता है.कोसोवो 2008 में सर्बिया से अलग हो गया था और उसे एक स्वतंत्र देश की मान्यता मिल गई थी. आईओसी ने भी 2014 में इसे अपनी सदस्यता दे दी थी. हालांकि कुछ ऐसे देश हैं जो इस देश को मान्यता नहीं देते हैं. इसी विवाद के चलते कोसोवो की खिलाड़ी का वीजा रुका हुआ है.
