China's fight against smog continues this year

CHINA — China's air quality has again started deteriorating due to heavy pollution.

The government has issued a revised air quality plan for the region. This is because pollution-prone cities in north China are set for more heavier smog this year than ever before.

Northern Chinese cities have already seen four bouts of smog since early October, reports the South China Morning Post.

Apparently, Chinese officials are blaming the weak winds and high humidity for the smog.
