Cyclone Gaja: 9 Persons killed in cyclonic storm, 323 electric poles fallen down

The cyclonic storm crossed Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coast in the early hours today. The state has been put on high alert, more than 82,000 people have been evacuated and a holiday has been declared for schools and colleges in many districts on Friday.
