Senior leave supporting cabinet ministers have avoided questions from reporters as they left their homes for work this morning. Esther McVey and Penny Mordaunt did not respond to questions on the government’s Brexit deal, while Andrea Leadsom said “there was a way to go” before the November EU council meeting.
