Panama Papers: Rahul Gandhi questions PM Modi’s silence on Raman Singh’s son

As the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh are underway, Congress has upped its ant to gain big this time in elections in state. Party president Rahul Gandhi has been addressing rallies in the state in the view of elections. While addressing a rally in Mahasamund, he criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being silent on Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh’s son’s name which appeared in Panama Papers. He said, “In Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif was jailed after his name came in Panama Papers for depositing Pakistan’s money in Panama bank account whereas when Chhattisgarh’s CM’s son does the same thing, no action is taken against him. Even Prime Minister remained silent on this issue.”
