N. Korea confirms 636 landmines removed from JSA

North Korea has finished removing landmines from the Joint Security Area.
Speaking in front of lawmakers on Monday,... South Korea's Defense chief said Pyeongyang notified his ministry of removal a total of 6-hundred-36 mines.
Jeong Kyeong-doo... pointed out, when Seoul inspected its part of the JSA, no mines were found there.
He added all armed personnel and weapons have been withdrawn as well.
The two Koreas completed a joint project to get rid of all landmines from Panmunjeom last month,... in accordance with the comprehensive military agreement signed in September.
