Lyft Removes Split Pay Options

Ride share company Lyft just removed Split Pay, the feature that lets users split ride fares with other passengers.
The ride-hailing company didn't offer a reason for removing the feature.
It said "easier and smoother ways to split your fare" are coming next year.
Uber, Lyft's direct competitor, still offers fare splitting.
