A 69-year-old man in the Netherlands is seeking to legally cut twenty years off of his age so he can get jobs and Tinder dates, reports The Guardian. Emile Ratelband has filed a lawsuit against a local government office that denied his age-change request, notes the Telegraph. In it, he asserts that he identifies as a 49-year-old man and should be allowed to live accordingly.  Ratelband further notes that his doctor told him he has the body of a 45-year-old. He reportedly equated his situation with that of transgender individuals, telling De Telegraaf: "You can change your name. You can change your gender. Why not your age? Nowhere are you so discriminated against as with your age."  According to the Telegraph, the court has expressed concern about the ramifications of officially deleting twenty years of a person's life.
