Pelosi Says Sessions' Firing Is 'Attempt' To End Russia Probe

Nancy Pelosi says President Donald Trump’s firing of Jeff Sessions is a “blatant attempt” to end the probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. elections.
House Democratic leader Pelosi posted a statement to Twitter Wednesday following Trump's firing of Sessions.
Pelosi called for the acting attorney general, Matthew Whitaker, to recuse himself from any involvement in the probe.
