Good morning, the rainfall has washed away most of the dust from the air while Chuncheong-do and Jeolla-do provinces will see cleaner air in the afternoon.
The rain is forecast to come down heavily all day today with up to 60 millimeters of rainfall expected in the capital area. Despite the showers, temperatures won't drop much.
Highs will range between 13 and 22 degrees Celsius, Seoul will get up to 16 degrees.
This year's university entrance exam, called Suneung, is only a week away and temperatures are forecast to remain on the milder side until then.
