Bill Gates shows us the toilet of the future

US billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates introduced a futuristic toilet that doesn’t need water or sewers and uses chemicals that turn human waste into fertilisers. The Microsoft founder stressed that poor sanitation in developing countries kills 500,000 children aged under five every year and costs over US$200 billion annually in healthcare costs and lost income worldwide.
