Posthumous bravery award for British backpacker

The family of a man who died trying to save the life of a fellow backpacker, have spoken of their pride at receiving a bravery award on his behalf. Thomas Jackson was posthumously awarded the Queen's Gallantry Medal at Buckingham Palace on what would have been his 33rd birthday. He was fatally injured as he tried to prevent the murder of 21-year-old Mia Ayliffe-Chung in Australia two years ago. Report by Thomasl.
